Home Delivery
Home delivery is available to Waterbury residents who are homebound or otherwise unable to visit the library in person.
Deliveries will be made by appointment. You must be at home to receive the delivery.
Library material can be returned at any time to the book return bin outside the library, or at home during your next scheduled delivery.
What do I need for home delivery?
1. You must have a Silas Bronson Library card in active status to participate in the home delivery service.
If you do not have a card, please click here to sign up or call us at 203-574-8206 to have the application form send to you.
If you need to renew your card, please call us at 203-574-8206.
2. Submit a completed home delivery application form.

You can also have the form sent to you in the mail. Call us at 203-574-8225 and ask for the home delivery application form.
We will contact you to confirm that you have been approved for home delivery service.
How do I place my order?
1. Use your library card number to sign into your account at silas.biblio.org
2. Find the item you wish to borrow and click on Request Item

Guidelines for use:
Applying for home delivery is not a guarantee of delivery service.
If approved for home delivery, you must be home for delivery.
No one else is authorized to accept delivery except for the patron listed or secondary contact listed on the application.
Deliveries will not be left if you are not home and may be returned to our collection for circulation to other patrons.
