Download Acorn to your smartphone and log in with your library card barcode number and password.
Use Acorn to search our catalog, request items to borrow, and view your account information.
You can also use Acorn as your library card -- select "Show Card" to see your barcode.

findIT CT searches for books in 253 libraries throughout Connecticut.
You can borrow books from other libraries in Connecticut using your Silas Bronson Library card at that library, or you can ask one of our librarians to order the book for you through the state's deliverIT program and pick it up at the Silas Bronson Library when it arrives (delivery times vary).
What Are Call Numbers?
Every book in the library has a unique call number attached to it. The call number is located at the base of the book’s spine and is designed to help you find what you’re looking for.
