Programs and Events


Lobby Display Case - During May Haggitte Gal-Ed exhibits her "Water Notations". This work consists of glass sculpture with photographs of water. 

Gallery Wall - Misty Bourgain, an aspiring art teacher at Naugatuck Valley Community College, displays her photography. Misty's photography is of a variety of subjects, which include cats, people, landscapes, railroads, nature, and cityscapes.

Jeremy Joyell Book Talk and Signing
May 7 at 7:00pm, Auditorium
Joyell discusses his new book "A Lifetime Ago: Before the Death of Childhood, a Cautionary Memoir". Joyell, a Waterbury native, reminises about growing up during a simpler time in the 1940s when childhood was nurtured and free from the bombardment of current media influences.

Tiare Kahana Hula Show
May 7 at 7:00pm, Childrens Room
Costumed dancers bring the spirit of Aloha with authentic Polynesian music and dance. Registration is required.

Computer Classes
