College is Possible - sponsored by American Council on Education.  If you aren't sure you can afford to go to college, check out what this site has to offer.  Relevant for high school age students and adults returning to college or changing careers.  This site functions as a portal to many other sites, including sites that have scholarship information.

CT Mentor  - This site is a good starting point for high school students preparing for college.  You will find information here about selecting a college and locating financial aid.

FinAid  - This site provides background information on the various types of financial aid, a glossary of terms, advice on filling out the forms, and calculators.

Google's University Search - directory of public and private colleges in the U.S.A.

Braintrack - lists colleges and universities all over the world.

Community Colleges - links to community colleges in Connecticut.

Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium - If you have thought about taking a course online, whether for personal enrichment or credit, this site provides an overview of how distance education works and a list of Connecticut colleges and universities that offer online courses.  You can even take a free sample online course.

Council for Christian Colleges and Universities - for students considering enrolling at a Christian institution of higher education.

Historically Black Colleges - links to historically black colleges and universities.

FAFSA ONline  - Fill out your federal student aid application online for student
loans. Check with your college for school data, which the application will request.
